This week’s Top Pick from St John’s Wood is Soutine’s Coq au Riesling – for those of you not in the know it is essentially Coq au Vin’s more sophisticated and sexier brother.
Made from corn-fed chicken legs which are slowly braised in Riesling wine with cream, parsley, button mushrooms and pearl onions, the dish comes served with buttered new potatoes and a medley of vegetables. The ultimate Autumn feast!
This Coq au Riesling is also available to order from Soutine’s Home Dining menu. Each portion serves 6 – enough for your whole bubble – and is priced at £90. All dishes from the Home Dining menu are prepared by Corbin & King chefs to restaurant quality standards and are delivered directly to guest’s homes. Meals arrive refrigerated and can be stored for up to three days. Most meals are able to be oven heated or simply microwaved for maximum ease.
